Volunteers Make it Happen!
The mission and vision of Habitat Greenville could not be fulfilled without the generous contribution of our volunteers.
Please note that volunteers under the age of 16 are not allowed to volunteer with Habitat Greenville due to the nature of the work we do. Please call or email our Volunteer Coordinator, Karen Olson (karen@habitatgreenville.org or 864-672-6345), if you have any questions or would like to discuss ways youth and students under the age of 16 can get involved. Anyone 16-17 years of age must fill out and have a parent or guardian sign the minor waiver, which you can download below, before volunteering.
Volunteer construction labor significantly lowers the cost of Habitat homes, making it possible to provide truly affordable, sustainable homeownership to low-income families.
Each year, well over 1,000 skilled and unskilled volunteers work on Habit home construction—jobs like framing, siding, roofing, installing windows and doors, painting, and landscaping. No construction experience is required, but any construction experience is welcome. View our current volunteer opportunities.
Steps to become a Habitat Volunteer
Step 1
Volunteers must fill out a waiver of liability in order to volunteer on site. We will have plenty of copies there, but filling them out ahead of time saves time once you get to the site. If you bring it with you, please make sure you fill out both pages completely and sign it.
Adult Waiver 
Anyone 18 years of age or older should fill out this version of our liability form. Make sure to fill out both pages completely and sign it.
Minor Waiver
Anyone 16-17 years of age should fill out this version of our liability form. Anyone under 16 years of age is not allowed to be on site.
Step 2

Step 3
Take the Habitat Volunteer Safety Training before your first day on site.
