If you're 16 or older, you can volunteer on a Habitat construction site. No construction experience is needed as skilled supervision will be provided. Please do not come directly to the build site, but sign up in advance through our online sign-up app (the blue button below). When you have signed up, print the adult waiver form (if 18 or older) or the minor waiver form (if 16-17 years old). Complete the form and email it to firstname.lastname@example.org or bring it with you on your volunteer day. (Please note that the minor waiver requires a parent/guardian signature.) On your volunteer day, be sure to arrive no later than 15 minutes prior to your shift to sign in so that we can start on time.
New construction project build days are Fridays and Saturdays and occasional Thursdays, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. You may sign up for:
All day: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Lunch is provided from 12:00 noon to 12:30 p.m. for volunteers working all day.

Other Construction Opportunities
Become a Task Leader
Task Leaders coach small teams of volunteers in tasks on the construction site. No experience is necessary; we’ll teach you all you need to know. Task Leader training takes place once each month on the second Tuesday from 6:30-7:30 p.m. We ask that you try to make 6 of our 12 monthly Task Leader training sessions. Sign up online by clicking the Volunteer Now button above. If you have questions, please email John Lattimore, Director of Project Management, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Serve as a Site Host
A Site Host is needed for each build site to oversee volunteer sign-in, facilitate lunch and distribute snacks and water. Site Hosts work from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. or from 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.) or are welcome to stay all day and assist with construction tasks.
Not sure if construction is right for you, but still want to help out on the build site? Form a Habitat Lunch Crew! Lunch crews are individuals or groups who volunteer to bring lunch to the site for 15-20 construction volunteers. Lunch is served on the build site from 12:00 p.m to 12:30 p.m. Lunch crews should plan to arrive around 11:30 a.m. to set up, and stay to clean up. This is a great way for individuals of all ages to get involved with Habitat!
Snack & Water Drives
Another great way to help Habitat without swinging a hammer is to start a snack and water drive at your church, school or organization. Habitat volunteers get hungry and thirsty when they are building homes. Individually wrapped granola bars, pretzels, fruit snacks, chips and bottled water or Gatorade give them energy for construction work and saves Habitat money that helps us build more homes. This is an especially good opportunity for youth, church groups and Scouts.
