  • All-day: 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • Morning shift: 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
  • Afternoon shift: 12:00 noon to 3:30 p.m.

Other Construction Opportunities

Become a Task Leader

Task Leaders coach small teams of volunteers in tasks on the construction site. No experience is necessary, we’ll teach you all you need to know. We do ask that you attend at least 6 of our 12 monthly task leader training sessions.

Task Leader Trainings are on the 4th Tuesday of the month. If you have any questions or would like to volunter, please contact Jennifer Lathrop.

Serve as a Site Host

A site host is needed for each build site to oversee volunteer sign-in, facilitate lunch, and distribute snacks and water. Site Hosts work from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. or from 11:15 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. They are also welcome to stay all day and assist with site management. Contact Jennifer Lathrop at jlathrop@habitatgreenville.org or (864) 672-6345 if you are interested in volunteering as a site host.

Lunch Crew

Not sure if construction is right for you, but still want to help out on the build site? Form a Habitat lunch crew! Lunch crews are individuals or groups who volunteer to bring lunch to the site for 15-20 construction volunteers. Lunch is served on the build site from 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Lunch crews should plan to arrive around 11:00 a.m. to set up and stay to clean up. This is a great way for individuals of all ages to get involved with Habitat! Contact Jennifer Lathrop at jlathrop@habitatgreenville.org if you are interested.
