After leaving a difficult situation, Amanda and her daughter Grace were sharing a bedroom in a friend’s apartment. Through Habitat for Humanity, Amanda gained the skills and support to become a homeowner, giving Grace a safe, stable place to grow—complete with her own rainbow-colored bedroom.
After years of living in shared housing, Joi Henry and her daughter, Jaslynn, have found stability through Habitat for Humanity. Joi has embraced this opportunity to learn lifelong skills like budgeting and encourages other aspiring homeowners to remain proactive and persistent.
After years of housing instability and working three jobs, Laura is planting permanent roots through Habitat for Humanity Greenville. By working alongside volunteers, she is securing an accessible home that provides safety for her mother and a reliable foundation for her three children.
With determination, support from Habitat Greenville, and a dream of stability for her daughters, Leslie is turning a long-held promise of owning a home into reality.
Jessica and her children moved into a new home through a partnership between Habitat for Humanity of Greenville County, Habitat for Humanity of Spartanburg, and BMW Manufacturing. She contributed "sweat equity" and attended preparatory classes to earn her home.
